Rob Palmer is a web and UI designer who started designing at a young age by using basic pencil drawings, sketching, painting and product design. Most of his design skills he taught himself before he took a multimedia design course at Newcastle College. There he learned how to use many different kinds of graphic design software and other skills that graphic designers should learn. After graduating from his course, he had what it would take to get a graphic design job in many different areas of this type of business. He chose to pursue a career in web design. He started out as a freelance web designer until he got a job at Blackprint, a print graphics and web design studio, heading up the web design department. He developed all of Blackprints web sites. Now he works at a company called Guerilla as their head of digital.

I like the way he has his website set up. He uses peaceful colors. I like the use of the cute little bird and the way he seems to use it to show a sense of humor. I also like how he has a blog and a section on his site that has tutorials.
